Rebecca Jones

Club Captain

Rebecca Jones is the Program Director of SULTC. She was previously the Club Captain and has been a part of the committee since 2017. 

Whilst attending the university from 2016-2019 to undertake a Bachelor of Architecture, Rebecca was part of the Elite Athlete program and recipient of the Kaye Dening (AM) Scholarship. Since completing her Masters in Property Development, she is now working in Development Management at Lendlease. 

Rebecca has always been involved in club tennis, watching her parents compete before starting regular competitions from the age of 9. She progressed into junior tournaments and represented Abbotsleigh in the school pathway system, ultimately becoming a regular in Australian Money Tournaments and senior ITFs. She has been ranked 37 in the Australian UTR rankings and earned a WTA point in 2020.

Rebecca is passionate about the academic and sporting opportunities the new tennis program provides.
