James Palmer is the Treasurer of the Sydney University Lawn Tennis Club. He has served on the Club’s committee since 2015 in various roles including as Club Secretary.
James has played tennis his whole life both socially and competitively. During school and university, he regularly played on the ITF Futures Tour and in Australian Money Tournaments under the tutelage of former professional player Todd Reid.
At Sydney University, James attended St Paul’s College and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws. He was a member of the Elite Athlete program and received a University Blue for his achievements in tennis.
He remains the captain of the Club’s Premier League men’s team and now practices as a solicitor with a broad interest in taxation, tort and criminal law.
